There are two distinct styles contained in one font. One massive and solid and one more shattered and resolving. The heavier characters are stored in the upper case alphabet and the lighter ones in the lower case. There are a few special punctuation marks, stylistically matching these two styles. They can be inserted using the Glyph palette of any layout application but they can also be evoked by selecting the OT-feature Stylistic Alternates. The JCTieshy™ defaults to the more frail style figures. They can be changed into the massive variant by use of the Lining Figures feature.
